Integrating the CCH Hubs Model into school curricula for ages 11-15 offers a multifaceted approach that aligns cultural heritage education with various academic subjects. The General Cultural Heritage Teaching Hub serves as a foundational pillar, intertwining with History, Geography, and Social Studies to provide students with a broad understanding of cultural heritage globally. Moving forward, the Food Hub bridges Geography, History, and Home Economics, delving into culinary traditions and their historical and cultural significance. Similarly, the Artifact Hub intersects with History and Art classes, offering insights into historical artifacts and their role in shaping our understanding of past civilizations. The Technology Hub integrates with Science and History, exploring the evolution of technology and its impact on society, while also resonating with Design and Technology through the study of craftsmanship.

The Museum Hub complements Art and History classes by providing immersive experiences with museum collections and historical artifacts. Moreover, the Music and Dance Hub intertwines with Music and Physical Education, allowing students to appreciate diverse musical and dance forms across cultures. The Customs and Traditions Hub connects with Sociology, Geography, and Religious Studies, shedding light on various cultural practices and traditions worldwide. Lastly, the Language Hub merges with Language Arts and Foreign Language classes, emphasizing the role of language in preserving cultural heritage and promoting linguistic diversity.

This interdisciplinary approach not only enriches students’ understanding of cultural heritage but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the diversity of human expression and the interconnectedness of academic subjects.
